Burn Garments

Burn garments (medically classified as custom medical compression or pressure garments) are highly specialized medical appliances engineered to apply continuous, uniform pressure over healing skin. They are primarily utilized in the long-term management of second- and third-degree burn injuries to suppress and control hypertrophic scarring, minimize contractures, and flatten thick scar tissue.

To be clinically effective, these garments must be worn 23 to 24 hours a day for anywhere from 6 to 18 months until the scar completely matures.
